Organizational Meeting
Sunday, January 5 at 10:00 a.m. – CMI Lounge
Chevra Hands invites and encourages ALL CMI members who knit and/or crochet to participate in a new and emotionally rewarding project. With Patti Garland as our leader, we will be partnering with the Knitted Knockers Support Foundation to create soft, comfortable prosthetics to be given free of charge to breast cancer survivors. If you wish to knit, please bring either Size 4 or 5 double pointed knitting needles; if you wish to crochet, please bring a Size G crochet hook. Moving forward, participants can work on the “knockers” at Chevra Hands meetings and knit/crochet independently. No experience is necessary - we will provide full instructions and guidance as well as the yarn. Please feel welcome to contact Nancy Moss Racusin (nancymr@snet.net) or Patti Garland (garland.patricia@gmail.com) with any questions or concerns. This is a wonderful opportunity to do a much needed and appreciated mitzvah - please join us!
