All adult CMI members with an interest in self-expression through creative writing are invited to participate in our upcoming Expressive Writing Workshop. The sessions will be led by CMI congregant, Amy J. Barry, an award-winning columnist, published poet, children’s book author, and certified expressive arts facilitator, who has been leading writing workshops on the Connecticut shoreline for over 12 years. Amy will employ imaginative prompts and exercises that engage participants in the joy of writing intuitively starting from the heart, not the head. The emphasis will be on writing poetry and short fiction in a supportive group setting. No previous writing experience is necessary.

 Sessions will be held in person at CMI from 1 to 2:30 pm. on the following Wednesdays:
